Card Making

When is a border NOT a border?

I just love the little daisy flower in a circle that this particular 4-in-1 punch creates. It is the 902 Daisy punch.

I did punch it along a piece of white cardstock like I was creating a border but instead, I cut those punched borders in strips and then covered a golden yellow circle to create a middle of a flower design.  I love the golden yellow showing through the punched design.  Yes, I did say circle and so yes, I did use the Kreaxions circle cutter. This tool is so easy to use and what is the coolest is that in minutes you can have any size circle you want and as you can see, I also cut a slightly larger circle to use as a colored mat.  AND, cut many small green circles to create the petals of my flower design.

The little bee accent is a stamp by Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker. I colored in portions of it with Copic markers and then coated the wings with Citrus Crush Flower Soft.  The cardstock is by Core’dinations, I just love the texture of that collection.

Daisy-punchThis close up shows how I positioned this punch with the “A” plates in it. After I punched the first punch, I decided on a reference point for the rest of my punches so they are spaced the same.
