It's no secret that I love using my punches to make masks to add fun stuff to my layouts. Today's project is no exception. I used Punch #604 on scrap paper to make a stencil to use with Modeling Paste.
In the upper right corner I laid my stencil flat against the paper and scraped on a thin layer of Paste.
On the upper edge of my photo I took the paste-gubbered stencil and pressed it down. It left me a relief image of the butterfly.
On the lower left edge of my layout I looped twine then laid a thick batch of paste over the top to hold the twine down. The butterflies aren't as obvious, but I did use my stencil.
To complete the butterfly theme I used Punch #604 in a row along the bottom and Punch #901 in a row along the top. Please check my blog, Scrappin' Chaos, for the sketch and a list of supplies used.
