Butterflies are such beautiful creatures..despite all odds they emerge from their cocoon to take flight…and that makes them perfect for Congratulations Cards.  You know what else is perfect for Congratulations Cards? CONFETTI!!  Because when something GREAT happens, you just want to throw confetti in the air!!  I created this card with that in mind.  

I created a envelope or pillow with transparencies by sewing three edges together.  I then emptied my Kreaxions 901 Butterfly 4 in 1 Punch and took out the larger pieces and was left with all the tiny butterflies and flower shapes and put them in the envelope.  I added some pink beads and yellow glitter and clear micro beads to the envelope and then sewed the top edge shut.  Then I die cut a butterfly with our Butterfly Die on the card and die cut a matching piece of patterned paper for the front of the card. I simply glued the envelope to the backside of the die cut opening.  Then,  I inked the edges and added the ribbon, some flowers, the sentiment and some butterflies I punched with our Kreaxions Butterfly Punch and voila!!  Taking Flight!!  It even makes a very satisfying shaky sound as you open it…LOVE.  Have a GREAT weekend everyone!!
