Hi everyone! I’m sorry I’ve
been AWOL. It’s been a really tough few
months for my family. My 90 year old dad
fell and broke his hip in October and has had several other complications since
then. So except for 10 days around
Thanksgiving, I’ve been gone for about 3 months! Thankfully he's stabilized enough that I am able to come home again but he'll be in full time nursing care for the rest of his life. Still we're quite blessed to still have him around!
Needless to say I haven’t scrapped much. So
when I finally got home and was able to scrap I started off with simpler pages
and little touches.
One of the things I LOVE about Kreaxions Punches is how easily
they add just a tiny bit to a page but yet give a powerful effect. The following three pages are prime examples
of this.
First is a page about my brother Bill. The page just needed a little something so I
took Kreaxions Punch #902 with Insert C and punched four pieces. Then I cut them into squares and added them to
the outer corners of my page. It was
just enough to round out the design.
Second is a page about a beach near Ketchikan, Alaska. Once again my outer corners needed
something. So I took Kreaxions Punch #906
and just used the cut-away pieces.
Finally is a page about my Grandmother. I used a PageMaps sketch for this page. The tag piece was just too blah so I used
Kreaxions Punch #905 with Insert B and punched the corners. It was just what the page needed!
So the next time you don’t have exactly what you need for your
page, take a look at your punches and see if maybe you can find the perfect
little touch! Happy Punching! Ginni Gass, Design Team Member.
