Just a Clean and Simple Retake

Charity here with a Purple Passion of a layout to showcase. It seems like punches, both the border and corner variety, are rarely used by the Clean and Simple crowd. Today I want to show you exactly why you NEED the Kreaxions 4 in 1 punches, and circle cutter no matter what your style.

~ RETAKE ~

Retake

To begin this layout I turned my Circle Cutter into a circle tracer (a pencil lead is included in the compartment that holds the extra blades). I lightly traced three circles onto my background then stitched over the lines. Next I added just a touch of mist splatter and plopped my photo down. I added punch confetti from a previous project and a snappy title. The page was still missing something so I turned to embossing.

I used Punch # 919 with insert A to make a mask. I laid my mask onto the layout and applied a heavy coat of embossing ink over the top. After carefully lifting the mask I dusted the image with embossing powder and heated as usual. To finish it all off I added Stickles throughout.

The green shamrocks on either side of the photo, the green arrows pointing to the offending face-maker, as well as the embossed shamrocks beneath the photo were made use the Kreaxions 4 in 1 Punch # 919.
