I hope you're having a WONDERFUL Valentines Day! While all the world is celebrating their romantic love, I wanted to share a different kind of love with you today. The love of a grandmother for her grandchild is like no other. And when you only have a very few pics of the two together that makes it even MORE special. The layout I'm sharing with you today features a picture of my daughter (now 31!) with her father's mother. We only have 3 or 4 pictures of the two of them together and this was a very special occasion for the family. So I wanted to make sure I showcased it properly.
I used a sketch by Lucy Chesna at My Sketch World to create this layout. I also used a recipe challenge from Sisterhood of Scrap. I inked the edges of white photo corners to make them pop more. I sprayed white cardstock with Glimmer Mist. The circle was created with the MOST FABULOUS Kreaxions Circle Cutter and the border which is punched alternating Kreaxions punches #917 and #905.
To create the border I punched alternating between Kreaxions Punch #917 and Kreaxions Punch #905 on both sides of the strip. Simple and easy but what a special effect!
