Truth be told–I dont do a lot of altering. BUT, I had purchased a couple of magnet boards at Target's Dollar Spot and I thought my daughter would love them in her room to hand her pictures (thus avoiding her taping things to her wall!!). But they were just plain white boards with black ribbons to hang them and black and white magnets. She has a lavender room so I waned to alter them to match. With some cardstock, patterned paper, Kreaxions punches and a few embellishments I turned those drab magnet boards to this:
I used Punch 303 to punch a border from the patterned paper and then used the Butterfly Punch 604 to punch contrasting pink butterflies:
She LOVES it and it was quick, easy and affordable way to make a meaningful gift!
Have a great weekend!

Soooo cute and that is the exact same color as my 10 year old daughter’s bedroom so I really need to head to Target to find a couple of these (LOVE that they’re from the dollar bins) and jazz them up with my Kreaxions punches!! Thanks for the awesome idea 🙂
