Circle Cutter-

Punch 914

Amazing Christmas projects – Notepad and an Ornament

Jan here. I got busy with both the 4 in 1 Punch #914 to create this border wrap for a small Christmas gift my son will be giving to to one of the support staff at his school. I love these magnetic notepads! Instead of wrapping it the traditional way, I created a wide border by cutting a 3 inch strip of red paper and running the punch along each edge. I layered that on a strip of white so the holly really pops. I then punched 2 strips of grey paper and used the cut away for the triangle shaped pieces. I wrapped it around the notepad and adhered it in the back. This technique would work well with a wrapped gift as well! Border2

Below is a close up view for you to see from the side angle.

My second project is a Christmas ornament. It would probably look better hanging on my tree, but I dont have my tree up yet! 😉 I used the circle cutter to cut a 3" circle. I then used the 4 in 1 punch on red paper, . I only used the scalloped edge and adhered those to the back of the grey circle. I cut a second grey circle to finish off the back of the ornament. I then added a sentiment sticker to a paper doily and adhered it to the grey circle and glued the whole thing to a large plastic snowflake. I love how easy the circle cutter is to use, even on thicker cardstock!
