Happy Labor Day!! and I am happy to have the day off.  So for today I am sharing a display case that is made from masonite.  I added some patterned paper, applied gesso and inked all the edges to give it a distressed look.  Then I used Kreaxion 920 to make the decorative piece on top of the box.

Inisde sits this mini book and I punched a border with Kreaxion 903 on both sides of the paper to make a band that will hold the mini book closed and all you do is slide it on and off.

It opens up to an accordion book

Slide the band back on and it keeps it shut
