I'm so very sorry for the delay in posting today! But I hope you like the project! Sometimes you just don't have what you need to make a project shine. Kreaxions Punches are PERFECT for this because you can create so MANY different things with them! And you can use this technique for ANY project!!! For this page I used a set of layered borders to enhance the mish-mash design of my background paper.
This layout is about the new purse I got for Christmas. My husband knew I needed a new one and he’d gotten a good tip so he thought he would surprise me with a Coach purse. Except he had no idea how much they cost! So he went into total sticker shock when he saw the prices! LOL! I told him I didn’t even like most of the name brand purses (no offense to those who do!) so while we were out shopping with the grandsons I popped into the DSW and looked around. My Grandson Noah found this one for $60 and it was instant love! So I just HAD to do a LO about it and my husband came up with the title for the page. LOL!
My papers were all double-sided so as I punched I knew I'd have two completely different borders. So I punched two different pieces and added the polka-dotted blue piece in the middle where I used the cut-away pieces. Here's a close-up of the borders –
To finish the page I sprayed the flowers with Glimmer Mists and used a glitter pen on them as well. I used the same pen to outline all my borders so they'd "shine" better.
This is the punch I used – Kreaxions Punch #920 with no template.
