Hi There Everyone!
Rebecca here, with my first ever Just Imagine Blog post. I am super excited to be here and I have several projects that I have been saving up to share here with you all.
To begin with, we all know how popular banners and pennants are right now. Of course there are plenty of pre-made banner embellishments you could buy, but it is super easy to make your own unique, handmade pennants with your Kreaxions punches. I used the Kreaxions 4-in-1 punch 907 Dots which you can buy HERE in the Just Imagine Store. First I used 907 to punch a simple border. Then I cut 1.5" squares, used the corner punch option on diagonal corners, cut the square in half and voila–I was left with 2 punched triangles. I strung them from ribbon, added some "candy dots" as connectors and made myself a unique looking banner.
As for the circles, I am, like the rest of the design team, a Kreaxions Circle Cutter convert! I have used many other circle cutters in the past. Or, I tried to use them, had less than positive results and ended up getting rid of them. But the Kreaxions Circle Cutter is AWESOME. I think because it is such a simple construction it actually works WAY better than some of the more complex looking tools out there on the market. You can buy your very own Circle Cutter HERE. It is very easy to use, is small enough to fit in the pencil holder on my desk and cuts circles from less than 1" diameter all the way up to 10" diameter!! I have already made projects with a large 10" circle:
And the negative space from that 10" circle:
And this one I cut much smaller circles in various sizes to match the circles I cut out from some Bella Blvd patterned paper:
The possibilities seem endless! So pull out those circle cutters and punches and make your own pennants and circles.
See ya next time!
