Hello from Jess with a Card

Hello everyone! My name is Jess and I’m so excited to be a member of the Just Imagine Design Team. I can’t wait to get to know all the talented users of this great project and be inspired by their creations!

I want to share a little about myself and a fun project. First up a bit about the project because who doesn’t love eye candy. I am lucky enough to own the circle cutter, Punch 913 and the star template and was determined to use them all right away. I began by tracing and cutting out the star template. Then as in the video tutorial (you can find it on the sidebar) I punched around the star template to create the doily centerpiece of my design.

Along the bottom I created a border strip by using the A insert with my punch. I then created an inner and outer circle. I added some gems to highlight the punched areas and a quick sentiment with letters stickers.

Now a little bit about me: I’m a 23 year old college student studying to become an elementary school teacher. I have a passion for nature, teaching, children’s literature, and of course papercrafting. I began scrapbooking after a trip to Italy when I was sixteen. As time went on I got more interested in techniques and all the wonderful products that are available out there including the fabulous Kreaxions line. I love to make cards, altered projects, and scrapbook pages. For the most part I think my style is clean and simple. I hope that I can inspire you as I know you will inspire me.
