I am a huge fan of circles, any way you use them. I want to share my lacey circle today.
I actually started with a star shape. Kreaxions offers a star template and it is designed to be used with the 4-in-1 punches. I traced the star on white cardstock and then punched all of the points of the star. The result is a lacey circle or doily. For mine I used the 922-Fountain punch.
This shows you a close-up of my lacey circle and I also cut a circle from the brown patterned paper with the Kreaxions circle cutter. I have never been a fan of circle cutters. It just seemed that they took up more room then they were worth. Boy, have I changed my mind after working with the Kreaxions circle cutter and what is even cooler about it is that it takes up NO space for storage, it is so compact. I have lots of circle punches but with the circle cutter I don’t have to worry about having every size, I can pick my size every time.
(Is that butterfly gorgeous? That is one of my brand new stamps from Layers of Colors. I just had to have this dotted butterfly and I stamped it on a vellum type of paper)
