Hi everyone! Wendy here and today I'm going to share with you a tutorial for creating fabric yo-yo's using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter. Normally fabric would be a bit difficult to cut, but I have a little trick to add some temporary stability to it.
Step 1: Ink fabric with Distress Inks. Wipe off extra.
Step 2: In order to cut fabric with the Circle Cutter you need to give it some stability. Using a glue stick, adhere fabric to scrap paper. I just use cheap copy paper from my recycling bin.
Step 3: Cut circle from fabric/paper using the Kreaxion Circle Cutter.
Step 4: Peel away the scrap paper. The glue stick provides a temporary adhesion and the fabric will peel off the paper easily.
Step 5: Press down edges with your fingers and add a running stitch around the fabric circle.
Step 6: When you have completely stitched around the fabric circle, carefully pull the thread to create the yo-yo.
Step 7: Embellish with a button or gem.
And here is the finished yo-yo embellished with a button and added to the front of a tag. A bit of stitching and a few paper leaves and you have a handmade flower embellishement.

Oh so cute and clever! My favorite part is how you colored it, great idea. This has to be one of the most easy ways to cut a circle in fabric!
