First of all, please let me tell you that my Grandson Noah was fine! The next day he had a bruise but that’s it! However, this made for a quite dramatic picture and page! The journaling reads “They told me not to run but I didn’t listen.” And “This is what happens when Noah’s face meets the coffee table. June 10,2011” Yep. He was running through the house and tripped and hit his head on the edge of a massive solid wood coffee table! Poor baby! That’s a boy for ya though!
Materials – All materials are Bo Bunny’s “On the Go” from the My Scraps & More store except Cardstock – Bazzill; Pens – Sharpie, Omni Gel; Stickles – Ranger; Ink – CTMH; Title cut with Cricut using George font.
So for this page I wanted drama. And what better way to create drama then arrows. I happened to have my Kreaxions Punch #906 sitting on my table and thought “Those would make AWESOME arrows!” So I started punching! Yes, it’s a LOT of little pieces and you know I love them! So without my Xyron X sticker maker it would have taken me quite awhile to glue all these little pieces down. What a HANDY little tool! Anyway, I used lots of pieces to create the arrows all over the page and the center border is using Template A – only this time I used the cut-away part. I turned my punch over so I could line up my next punch right on the edge of the one previous to create this border. See pictures below.
It took a little time to create this page because of all the adhering but I don’t think it took more than an hour. And I LOVE the effect the “arrows” have! So next time you see those pieces laying around, try to think outside the box and see if you can find a creative way to use them! Happy Punching! Ginni Gass, DT Member
