Happy Tuesday! Today I'm going back to Easter and sharing a cute page I made about my youngest grandson. My daughter posted on these pictures on Facebook the day after Easter. Apparently my 1 1/2 YO grandson couldn't wait for cake! I used a layout in the August 2011 Scrapbooks Etc. by Lisa Storms for my inspiration.
Using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter I cut two half circles to fit my page. (One in cardstock and one with patterned paper.) Then I used Kreaxions Punch #917 without a template to punch the hearts inside and create a border on the larger half circle. (Remember that the Kreaxions Punch Mate will help you cut through cardstock!) To make the punched images stand out better I used a red Micron pen to outline them. This technique would work with ANY Kreaxions punch to give your pages the look you want! Here's a close-up of the punched images…
The papers and stickers are all from a prize package I won from Reminisce a couple of years ago. The tag is an old one by Carolee's Creations. The journaling reads "The cake before…" " Mommy found a day old Easter Cake." I just couldn't resist myself!" "Garrett!!! What did you DO??!!" "The cake after…" "And then he passed out in his mommy's arms."
Using Kreaxions products makes creating fun and fabulous layouts and cards easy! I hope I've inspired you today to create your own project with your Kreaxions products! Happy Punching! Ginni Gass, DT Member
