One of my nicknames on this Design
Team is "The Piece Queen". The reason for
that is because I’m constantly using all the little punched-out pieces on my
pages! I just can’t seem to bring myself
to throw them away. Hehe! The one tool I use constantly when adhering
these pieces is a Xyron X. It’s PERFECT
for these little pieces. They are found
in most craft stores and are quite inexpensive.
On this page about my husband, his mother and his granddaughter I used
Kreaxions Punch #919
with no template.
First I cut a large circle with the most amazing circle cutter ever –
the Kreaxions Circle Cutter. Then I
punched my pieces out of scrap paper and placed the “stars” around the
circle. Then I used the little curvy
pieces on the bottom to create my “borders” on the mats under my photos. Finally, I pulled out one of my pens and
outlined everything just to give them more “pop”.
Materials – Sketch – Lucy Chesna; Cardstock –
Bazzill; Patterned Paper – Basic Grey; Punch – Kreaxions #919; Circle Cutter –
Kreaxions; Ribbons & Metal Words – CR Gibson; Brads – Recollections; Letter
Stencil – ScrapPagerz; Pens – Sakura Gel Roll, Sharpie; Stickles – Ranger
I hope this inspires you to use the
pieces from your Kreaxions punches!
Happy Punching!!! Ginni Gass,
